FAQ of Orientology

Can I make changes to my order after it's placed?

In effort to get our customers their orders as fast as possible, your order is immediately sent to our fulfillment team and we are unable to make changes to the order details, including address changes, item changes, and cancellation requests.

Can you ship globally?

We offer shipping to most countries and regions worldwide. However, for areas where delivery is not possible, we will cancel the order and notify you accordingly. For details, you are more than welcome to contact us anytime.

How do I track my order?

We will promptly provide you with a tracking number once your package clears customs. Given that our teas are generally shipped by air, you can expect to receive the tracking number relatively quickly. However, for other items that may be shipped via sea, the timing of the tracking number issuance could be influenced by the efficiency of customs processing. Once you have received a tracking number, we recommend tracking your package here. Please be aware that a status of “preparing shipment” indicates that your package has departed from Chinese customs and is en route to you. For items shipped via sea, it's not unusual for updates to take two to three weeks while the package is in transit between customs. We thank you in advance for your understanding and patience during this process.

My order arrived damaged or incomplete. What should I do?

We work hard to ensure orders are filled correctly and completely, and all items are packaged carefully to prevent breakage. If you experience any problem with your order, please contact our customer service team for assistance. Were happy to rectify any problems to ensure your satisfaction.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

No, we do not accept any returns at this time, all sales are final.

How should I store my tea?

Just like spices and coffee, dried tea doesn't really 'go off,' but it can fade in flavor if not stored properly. To keep your tea tasting its best, pop it in an airtight container, out of the sun, heat, and dampness, and away from strong odors. Tea is a bit like a sponge for moisture and scents, so it's a good idea to keep it separate from fragrant items like coffee, spices, or herbs to prevent it from picking up their flavors. You might wanna check This Article for details.

How long does tea stay fresh?

Each type of tea has its own oxidation profile and shelf life. White, Oolong, and Dark teas have the special gift of maturing and gaining depth over the years, as long as they're stored just right. But when it comes to Green teas, they're a bit more fleeting: they start to fade fast. So, once you crack open that packet, we suggest savoring your Green tea within the first two months to catch it at its peak. You might wanna check This Article for details.
